According to State Statistics Bureau, in the coming seven years, Beijing will invest 280 billion yuan in the construction for 2008 Olympic Games. As a result, it will bring about 0.3 to 0.4 percent of growth in Chinese economy and increase two million job opportunities. Some foreign authorities also predict that from 2002 to 2008 Chinese economy will have an extra growth of 4.5 percent.
