安徽水资源较为紧缺,建设节水型社会十分必要而且紧迫。在现有基础和条件下,必须进一步建立健全水法规体系,做好规划,突出解决好体制与机制问题,完善工程体系,严格水资源保护,强化基础管理工作,狠抓人才队伍建设,努力推进节水型社会建设步伐。

Water is relatively scarce in Anhui Province; hence it is necessary and urgent to establish a water-saving society. Under the present conditions, it is essential to strengthen water legislations, make planning and solve problems with institutional system. Water-saving society establishment should be speed up and promoted by improving engineering system, focusing on water resources protection and management and capacity building.
