Visual FoxPro是面向对象的数据库管理系统,是开发管理信息系统的常用工具,是高校计算机类、信息类、经济类等专业的重要基础课,探讨该课程的教学改革意义重大。分析了高校VisualFoxPro教学中存在的问题,对教学内容、教学方法、教学手段、考核形式等方面的改革作了深入的探讨,提出了改革的有效措施,对教学中出现的问题给出了解决方法。

Visual FoxPro is a kind of object oriented database management system, a usual tool for development of management information system, an important basic subject for specializing in professions of computer, information and economics of university . It has great meaning to do best the teaching reform of Visual FoxPro. By analyzing the problems existed in Visual FoxPro teaching, the contents, methods and means of Visual FoxPro teaching have been deeply investigated. Meanwhile, the principles and methods of teaching reform have been also proposed and solving methods have been got for the problems appearing in teaching.
