摘要
本文着重介绍了杰出的古代少数民族科学家耶律楚材在我国古代天文学和地理学等领域的突出贡献,尤其对他编纂《西征庚午元历》、提出“里差”概念的背景及其产生的影响给予了重点的分析和评价.
It is infroduced that the ancient scientist, Yeluchucai, made a prominent achievements in astronomy and geography. The historical background and effects of the conception of Licha in the book ＂The Calendar of Yuan Dynasty in Gengwu Year＂ are analyzed and evaluated.
