The importance of Labrang Monastery to XiaheCounty is similar to the relationship between one＇s soul and one＇s physical being. The spirit of Buddha is omniscient, lighting up the landscape of Xiahe County. The spirit of Tibetan Buddhism in local people＇s hearts enhances the beauty of this area. And the mountains, lakes, woods and grassland around Xiahe County offer fertile conditions in which this spirit can flourish.
