Order and Harmony——On the First Idea to the Harmonious Society of the Pre-Qin Dynasty

在“天人合一”的哲学思维下,先秦儒家对社会的和谐秩序进行了系统的构想。这种和谐状态,不仅包涵着人际和谐,还隐喻着人与天(万物)的和谐、人自身与“心”(精神)的和谐。为了使整个社会达到这样一种和谐有序的状态,先秦儒家对施政者和社会中的个体都提出了具体的要求。

Under the philosophy thinking of “harmony between man and nature”, the Confueians of the Pre - Qin Dynasty carried on the systematic idea to the harmonious order of the society. Such a harmonious state embraces interpersonal harmony, implies harmony between man and nature and both human physical and mental harmony. In order to endow the whole society with such a harmonious and orderly state, the Confucians of the Pre - Qin Dynasty put forward the concrete demand for those who manage government ＂,affairs and individual in the society.
