What colleges and universities function in humanism education can＇t be underestimated. The academic library, with its rich collection of social resources, should show its unique contribution to the humanism education. The paper discusses on the principles, means, and significance of cultivating the humanism education in the academic libraries, and advances the countermeasures what the academic libraries should take in the humanism building.
