摘要
Though Singapore is renowned for its elite education,yet it does not really focus on this kind of education only.Instead,it integrates elite education with vocational one.Lee Kwan-Yew’s idea of elite e-ducation does not mean that it excludes popular education.Instead,it stresses the importance of the education,training and employment of personnel for various levels.These kinds of education,the two engines that push its economy ahead,are well combined with the educational policy of"Education should play a supporting role in e-conomy"established and advocated by the government.
