摘要
为了改善传统视频编码器在无线网络传输条件下的容错性能,并减轻由于丢帧引起的误差传播效应,基于经典的视频分析概念和理论,提出了一种新的视频容错算法。该技术参照视频分析中关键帧搜索理论,结合视频容错的特点和实际网络传输条件,在不改变码流结构的情况下,是一种适合无线网络传输的可分层的视频容错编码算法。通过H.263编解码器的试验证明:所提出的算法可以很好地缩短由无线传输丢包引起的误差传播范围,从而得到比较好的视频主客观评价效果。
The resilience of video codec in wireless transmission environments is improved with a video error resilience algorithm, based on classic video analysis theory which alleviates error propagation caused by lost frames. The system adapts to practical scalable wireless transmission environments with video errors to greatly enhance error correction performance in the video receiver. Experiments on the H. 263 codec show that the algorithm reduces error propagation caused by lost packets to provide better objective and subjective video quality.
