摘要
为充分利用卫星通信系统的链路资源,针对卫星异步传递模式(ATM)网络的特点,在链路资源按需分配(DA)协议的控制论模型基础上,研究了该协议对业务统计特性的影响,并且基于跨层设计的思路提出了一个结合媒介访问控制层DA协议的接纳控制算法。分析与仿真结果表明:该算法与不考虑DA协议的接纳算法相比,在一定的接纳门限范围内能够接纳更多的连接。该算法增加了网络的业务接纳率,提高了卫星链路资源的利用率。
In order to fully utilize satellite link resources, connection admission control algorithm combined with the resources on demand allocation (DA) protocol is developed for asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) over satellite communication networks. The algorithm is proposed through an approach of cross-layer design, It is based on a control theory model of the DA protocol and the effects of the protocol on the statistical attributes of the network traffic. Theoretical analysis and system simulations show that the proposed algorithm admits more connections than an algorithm that does not take into account the DA protocol. Thus, the algorithm can increase the admission ratio of traffic sources for satellite ATM networks and improve satellite link utilization.
