Subjectivity Principle versus Modern Value Rationality

主体性原则是近现代理性哲学的一块基石。它是指人在实践活动中站在主体的立场上,用作为主体的眼光去审视作为客体的对象,并思考在与客体的关系中“应如何”的理性原则。由于现代人对主体性原则的误读与滥用,使得人的价值理性日益萎缩和边缘化,从而导致价值理性的危机和人的生存危机。只有当人的主体性原则回归于价值理性,将追求幸福与追求美德统一起来时,才能把人从现代性的陷阱中拯救出来。

Subjectivity principle, a rational principle of how to approach and handle the relation between subject and object from the subjective perspective, is considered to be the cornerstone of modern rational philosophy. However, due to the misinterpreting and abusing of subjectivity principle, modern people＇ s rationality toward values is gradually becoming withered and marginalized, resulting in the crisis of human values and thus threatening human existence. The paper indicates that only with the unification between subjectivity and value rationality and that between pursuit of happiness and pursuit of virtues, can modern people help themselves out of the trap.
