American individualism, originated from the Western philosophical individualism, has come to be the core of Americanism. It is reflected in the American language, literature, arts, social life. With the help of the interpretation of cross-cultural American individualism, can English learners improve the susceptibility of cross - cultural awareness and promote their communicative ability.
