Based on an investigation and a field study, this paper explores the importance of consolidating the CPC＇ s ruling foundation under the new circumstances and gives an analysis of factors influencing the ruling foundation in rural areas ;and it goes further to propose some countermeasures and suggestions on how to further consolidating the CPC＇ s ruling foundation in rural areas.
