《五山十刹图》径山僧堂椅的研究

The Research of Song Dynasty Temple Chairs

"五山十刹"之制是南宋的官寺制度。《五山十刹图》是入宋求法的日本僧人遍访五山十刹诸寺后,对南宋禅寺的伽蓝配置、建筑、家具、室内陈设等真实记录的图卷。作者对图示僧堂椅进行了解读,研究表明椅背搭脑和扶手连成一体呈圈状,用向上弯曲延伸的后腿和椅背支撑椅圈的天圆地方形直腿圈椅,最迟在公元1248年(南宋时期)就在中国使用了。这是一种新发现的宋代圈椅。

“Five great temples and ten secondary great ones”are governmental temples in South Song Dynasty,The book,“Paintings of five great temples and ten secondary great ones”,is made up of paintngs,which had recorded the layout,archiectures,furniture,furnishings,cte,about Zen temples in South Song Dynasty,Authors have made a research into the chair in the hall for worshipping Buddra form these paintings,It shows the circular chair had been used in 1248（South Song Dynasty）at the Iatest,This kind of circuular chair joins yoke-shaped crest rail and armrests in a circle,supported by two curved back Icgs and splat,its two front legs are straight,but outer corners are round and inner corners are square,This kind of cireular chair in South Song Dynasty is a new discovery.
