以间甲酚与甲醇在Ｖ＿２Ｏ＿５－Ｆｅ＿２Ｏ＿３催化剂上气相催化甲基化制备２，３，６－三甲酚，间甲酚转化率＞９０％，２，３，６－三甲基收率＞９０％，副产２，５－二甲酚。

Abstract Trimethyl phenol used to preparemedium of vitamin-E is prepared by methylationof m- cresol with methanol in the catalyst V_2O_5-Fe_2O_3.The conversion of m-cresol is>90%.The yield of 2,3,6-trimethyl phenol is>70%.
