摘要
本文在解释郊区化概念并简单介绍美、日两国城市郊区化过程、特点以及有关研究的基础上，对人口（居住）、工业、商业、办公业和生活空间等各种类型郊区化的研究方法及主要论点进行了概述。
After a conceptual explain of suburbanization and a introduction of the processes and the characteristics of the suburbanization in U. S. and Japan, this paper briefly reviews the research methods and main points on the various suburbanization (of population or resident, manufacturing, retail, office, activity space etc.).
