ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF ZHENGZHOU CITY AS A COMMERCIAL CENTRE

市场经济大方向的确立和国家宏观区域战略的转移为郑州市商贸城建设提供了机遇。本文根据郑州市业已形成的优势条件,结合该市商贸城建设的宏伟目标,确立了郑州市经济发展的重点是:①进一步加强城市交通建设,不断强化交通对商贸的支持作用;②建立具有商贸城特色的产业布局休系;③进一步发展城市工业,以支柱工业带动城市生产的全面发展;④发展城市金融业,把郑州市建成区域性的金融中心。

From the view nationally, both the establishment of the market economy system and the changing of the macroregional Strategy in China provide the city with good opportunities and chances. In light of the superiorities already attained, along with the sophisticated goals to achieve, four aspects should be emphasized in the future. 1) Strengthen transportation construction of the city further and enhance its role for the city's commerce and trade. 2) establish a well-coordinated industrial vocation system with the characteristics of the commercial city. 3) give high prior to the city's industrial production, realize the overall development of the whole industry through the support-industry-strategy. 4) Promote the city's finance, make the city a regional financial center.
