中华眼科杂志与时俱进续谱新篇

Advances of the Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology with the times

1950年10月1日,中华眼科杂志伴随着新中国诞生1周年而创刊,至今已半个多世纪。老一辈办刊人经历了创刊的艰辛、停刊的无奈及复刊的欣喜;进入21世纪后,新一代办刊人与时俱进,不断开创新局面,取得了可喜的成绩。但成绩只能说明过去,开创未来的任务更艰巨。中华眼科杂志编审人员在肯定成绩的同时,认真分析目前办刊中存在的主要问题,提出了切实可行的改进措施和近几年的努力方向,今后将继续与全国眼科同道团结一致、携手共勉,为中华眼科杂志的持续发展而努力奋斗。

Since the first publication of the Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology on October 1^st, 1950,following the establishment of the People＇s Republic of China, more than fifty years have already elapsed. The editors and publishers of the elder generation of this magazine have witnessed the hardships in starting publication, the disappointments of the discontinuation of publication during certain periods, as well as the great delight of restarting publication. Having entered the 21^st century, editors and publishers of the new generation have made dramatic achievements by keeping up with the times and continuously seeking innovations. However all of these achievements have only turned out to be the past. There are even more challenges for moving ahead in the future. The Chinese Journal of Ophthalmology has noted its achievements on the one hand; while on the other hand, has analyzed the main existing problems of this magazine. Some feasible approaches to improve the magazine have been proposed and the direction in the following few years was ascertained. We will collaborate with Chinese ophthalmologists to work towards the continuous development of this magazine.
