摘要
在过去的20多年间,有关华裔文化身份的讨论、描述、建构等不论是在华裔文学创作方面,还是在相关的批评领域,都受到了学术界和文学界的普遍关注。文化身份和认同的表述成了创作和批评关注的焦点,并形成了各种理论视角。我将其归纳并命名为“生民视角”、“民主视角”和“离散视角”。本文对“民族视角”的研究做了理论梳理和讨论,挖掘其理论内涵并指出其面临的挑战。
The past two decades have seen a proliferation of references to Chinese American identity in ethnic Chinese literary creation and critical reflection. Delineation of this identity has been a pervasive focus in Chinese American Literary Studies. Three main perspectives have been formed over time: the Native, the National, and the Diasporic / Global. This paper reviews and critiques the National Perspective in its discursive development.
