A description is given of a recently-designed high gradient magnetic separator。This separator, with a vibrating device and a pulsating device,has good separation efficiencydue to its rational combination of the characteristics of vibrating HGMS and pulsatingHGMs。 In iron-removal from china stone,it has obtained satisfactory results with highyield of refined china clay and its product has reached the standards of Grade 1 china stone。
