摘要
本文描述了蠓科异蠓族的湿蠓新属Ｍｅｄｅｏｂｅｚｚｉａ，ｇｅｎ．ｎ．及其模式种孤单湿蠓Ｍｅｄｅｏｂｉｚｚｉａｓｉｎｇｕｌａｒｉｓ，ｓｐ．ｎ．。模式产地为湖北省武当山麓，收藏于军事医学科学院医学昆虫标本馆。
During the identification of specimens collected by Hubei Provice midges survey, the author discovered a new genus and a new species of the tribe Heteromyiini of Ceratopogonidae, Medeobezzia gen. n. and Medeobezzia singularis nov. sp. The type specimens are deposited in the Medical Entomology collected Gallery. Academy of Military Medical Sciences(20 Dongda ne, Fengtai, Beijing 100071, China).
