摘要
本文提出分析线性薄膜一侧或两侧为非线性介质时自聚焦非线性平板波导横电导模的普遍方法,导出普适的色散关系式,并对两类非线性介质(n2=n2+αE2+βE4及n2=N2+δE+αE2)导出了计算模折射率与功率流,薄膜功率流与总功率流间关系以及模场函数的解析公式,给出了计算方法与步骤,并进行了实例计算与讨论。
A generalized method is presented for analysing TE modes of nonlinear planar waveguides with linear film bounded one side or both sides by nonlinear materials.General dispersion relations are derived.Analytic formulas are derived for nonlinear media with n ̄2 = n ̄2 + αE ̄2 + βE ̄4 and with n ̄2 =n ̄2 +δE+αE ̄2to calculate dependence of modal index on transmission power,of core layer power to transmission power and modal field functions.Method and procedure of calculations are given for general as well as special cases.Specific examples are given and results discussed.
