摘要 本文简述闪光灯泵浦的掺钛宝石激光器的发展概况和应用前景,叙述了用自己研制的高能量短脉冲同轴闪光灯泵浦的掺钛宝石激光器实验装置和实验结果。实验中采用本单位用提拉法生长的掺钛宝石棒,其尺寸为Φ10×160mm,有效泵浦长度为152nm,棒的两端面镀增透膜;采用平凹型激光谐振腔,腔长36cm;闪光灯放电脉宽为10~12μs。当泵浦输入能量为612J时,激光输出能量最高达到3.2J,激光能量转换效率约为0.5%。 In this paper the trends of development and applications of flashlamp pumped Ti:sappliire lasers are briefly reviwed, and experimental setup and results of Ti:sapphire laser pumped by a high-energy and short-pulse coaxial flashlamp presented. The Ti:sapphire rod is Czochralsky-grown in our Institute, and cut for of Φ10×160 mm, with effective length of 152 mm. The rod ends are anti-reflection coated. Tile resonator is 36 cm flat-concave arrangement, and the discharge pulse-width of the lamp 10-12μs. When input energy is 612 J, the laser produces 3.2 J output with total efficiency of 0.5%. According to author’s knowledge, this is the highest laser output of coaxial flashlamp pumped Ti:sapphire laser to date.
