In the medium of 2%hydrochloric acid with a little saturated bromiue water,the gold isadsorped and concentrated by foamed plastics.The gold is extracted with 1.0%hot thioureasolution and then the content of trace gold in natural water is determined by non-flame AASwith coating graphite tube and platform. The method is simple and reliable.
