A unique inclined bayonet cooler for fluidizedbed roaster of pyrite was designed under the inspiration of the bayonet single tube construction in wasteheat boiler, resulting in a increased cooling area anddecresed circulation resistance. The circulating ratiowas checked at 28. 57 by detailed hydrodynamicalcalculation which showed a reliable water circulationsystem.
