The paper describes the working principleof new coder and decoder and their appli-cation in monitoring system of locomotivehaulage, and also the strl1ctture, featuresand principle of this monitoring system.This system is cheaper due to the applica-tion of coder and decoder as compared toother systems with the same functions, soit is easy to be popularized.
