Variational Design and Its Research Content

变动设计是为了克服传统 CAD 系统的缺点而发展起来的一种 CAD 新技术,它着重强调产品模型建模与修改的方便性,强调产品模型内部各子部分之间的联系和产品与产品之间的联系,实现多个产品的关联设计与联动修改。本文首先分析了传统 CAD 系统的设计流程与存在缺点。提出了变动设计的概念与功能要求,进而分别讨论了产品全过程变动设计,多类模型变动设计与多个设计对象之间的变动设计问题。

Variational design is kind of new technology aiming to remove the dif- ficulties of traditional CAD system,it puts emphasis on the convenience of building and modification product model.Based on the associations between parts of a prod- uct or between multiple products,it can provide the tools for co—design and co— modification of multiple Products.This paper first points out some shoutcomings of traditional CAD system,then introduces the new concept of variational design and its functional demands.Problems of variational design for whole design process, multiple,multiple models and multiple products are discussed detailedly.
