On the New Methods of Making Tool─Electrodes in EDM

用电火花法加工复杂形状模腔的关键之一是工具电极的制造。为了解决一般电极材料价高，复杂型腔难以加工等问题，通过试验研究，推出了一种以石膏和塑料为基本材料，采用非金属电镀工艺制造工具电极的新方法。

The metbed to make the tool-electrices in EDM is one of the key problems in working out the cavities with a complex contour.One of the weakponts of the traditional methods lies in the high value of the electrode materials and the shaping of complicated profiles.The authors of this paper suggest to substitute the plaster together with the ABS plastics for the common-used graphite or bronze etc.and,further,the nonmetallic plating techniques for the plastic electrices.
