The Viability and Vigor Test of Eggplant Seeds in Different Maturities

摘要 本文通过对不同成熟度茄子(Sllanummelongenal.)种子,进行适温发芽试验,田间幼苗萌发与生长分析,抗逆性和抗老化特性等生活力及活力指标研究,结果表明:成熟度为开花授粉后50d茄子种子,其发芽率低于开花授粉后60d的茄子种子,其差异较其它茄科蔬菜作物高。未成熟茄子种子活力下降主要表现为:种子萌发速度、田间幼苗生长量,种子抗低温与抗老化能力的显著降低等方面。茄子种子成熟度严重影响生产潜力及贮藏性能。 The experiments was carried out in the laboratory and field to test theviability and vigor of eggplant(Solanum melongena L. )seeds in diffierent maturities.The germination,field establishment and resistant ability to lower temperture stress andaccelerate aging were observed, the results indicated that the gerimination rate of theimmature seeds which was harvsted in 50 days after flowering was decreased 19.8%lower than that of mature seeds which was harvsted in 60 days after fiowering.Thedecreasing of the vigor of immature eggplant seeds was mainly in the speed ofgermination,the seedling growth,tolerance to low temperattire stress and aging of theseeds.The maturitv of seeds was important to the productive potential and storageability of the seeds.
