This paper presents that the evaporative cooling techniques have an inviting prospect in the areas with moderate or humid climates. They can be used for improving the summer thermal environment with increased air movement, play an important role in desiccant cooling and enlarge the heat transfer temperature difference of the air-conditioning equipment to obtain better performance. The author discusses the methods of applications and the energy saving effects.
