摘要
为缩短边耦合加速腔腔片制造周期,需用部分腔片确定Tauk的π/2模式频率,采用整腔结尾,调节端腔频率使相邻耦合腔输出最小的方法,得到比较准确的结果。焊后调谐,耦合腔频率用近似方法调节,加速腔则用相对精确的方法调谐。用桥耦合器连接Tank后,腔数增加引起π/2模式频率下降,桥耦合器的频率要调高于设计值。
AbstractWhen we tuned Coupled-Cavity Linac tanks for SSC,we used two tunable aluminum endcells and eight segments to determine the frequency of π/2 mode of a tank.Tuned the aluminumend cells until the RF signals pick up from the side coupled cavities neighboring end acceleratingcavities became minimum. Thef_(π/2) of this cavity chain is regarded as the f_(π/2)of the tank.Afterbeing brazed,the coupled cavities are approximately tuned and the accelerating cavities areaccurately tuned.When tanks are connected with bridge couplers,f_(π/2)of the module is lower thanthat of designed.RF tuning procedure is discussed and typical results are given in this thesis.
