Representative Methods of the Nonlinear Damping of Liquid Sloshing

采用等效线性化手段研究了液体晃动非线性阻尼特性的描述方法，给出了自由衰减响应的对数衰减率与非线性阻尼比之间的关系，提出了通过自由衰减响应确定非线性阻尼特性参数的两种方法。计算表明，两种方法所得到的结果可以满足工程应用所要求的精度。

In this paper the representative methods of the nonlinear damping properties of liquid slosh-ing are investigated using the method of equivalent linearization. The relationship between the logarithmic decay rate of free decay response and the nonlinear damping ratio is given. Two methods to determine the parameters of nonlinear damping properties by the free decay response are derived. The calculations indi-cate that the precision of results obtained by these methods can satisfy the requirement of engineering ap-plications.
