摘要
导出了使电子束达到最佳群聚(Bunching)状态的条件和群聚的标度关系,并在分析去群聚(Debunching)因素的基础上,为一种效率更高的变参数摇摆器的设计提供了依据。
AbstractIn the classical description,gain of the free-electron laser(FEL)is as a result of theelectron beam being bunched under the action of the ponderomotive force formed byassociation of the optical field with the wiggler field.The performances of the FEL(power,linewidth and so on)depend on the electron beam bunching well or not and debunchingstrongly or not.In this paper,a specific description for this two problems has been given,in which an optimal bunching condition andbunching scaling relation of the electron beam have been derived,andthe evidence for designment of a new variable parameter wiggler which can much moreenhance the efficiency of the FEL based on analysing the electron beam debunching hasbeen provided.
