摘要
从解析分析和数值模拟两个方面比较了两种多色相干光源的特性。结果表明:采用普通共振腔构型,由基模群聚产生的相干谐波与采用光速调管放大器构型,由外源预群聚产生的相干谐波比较,除了多一个基模输出功率以外,高次谐波输出功率至少同量级:而且前者不需要外源,只要研究对不同频率光的镜子反射系数和功率提取就可以了。
AbstractIn this paper, we have compared the characteristics of two kinds of chromaticcoherent light source from both wavs of analvtical analvsis and numerical simulation.It is found that an optimal chromatic coherent light source is the coherent harmonicsgenerated by the fundamental mode bunching in a normal oscillator instead of one generatedby the external source prebunching in an optical klystron amplifier. Because 1.The output power of the high coherent harmonics generated by the fundamentalmode bunching is at least as the same order of magnitude as one generated by the externalsource prebunching except more than one fundamental mode output; 2.Without requiring an external source for the fundamental mode bunching; 3.The length of the wiggler used in the fundamental mode bunching can be shorterthan one used in the external source prebunching as long as the length of the macropulseof the electron beam is long enough.But, investigations of both the reflectivity of mirrors and the power extraction for thelights with different frequency are required for the fundamental mode bunching in thenormal oscillator and the fundamental mode bunching is worse than the external sourceprebunching when an electron beam with the poor quality is used to generate the coherentharmonics.
