图书情报计算机网络系统建设若干问题探讨

On the Construction of Computer Networks in Libraries and Information Departments

本文提出应建立国家级、省级、各校图书馆（公共图书馆）三级计算机网络系统，以实现图书情报资源共享这一设想。在讨论了三级计算机网络系统的模式，并着重就网络系统的数据交换、情报检索等技术条件进行探讨之后，针对建立三级计算机网络系统分析了我国图书情报部门自动化管理系统存在的问题。最后根据系统工程理论提出国家教委和文化部应整体把握、总体设计三级网络建设，明确子系统、子网络建设的各项技术指标，建立各级网络中心，以点带面地完成网络建设。

The article puts forward a tentative idea of constructing computer networks in libraries and information departments so that the readers can make better use of the books and information.The networks are to be established in libraries of three levels:national level, provincial level,and university or public library lev-el.The article discusses the pattern and technical requirements of the three-level-led networks,especially their data exchange and information retrieval,then it an-alyses the problems in automation management in the libraries or information de-partments in China with regard to the construction of the networks.Finally the article, based on the theory of systems engineering,proposes that the State Educa-tion Commission and the Ministry of Culture should exercise a general control over the work, provide an overall planning for it,determine technical targets for the construction of the subsystems, set up network centres at various levels and complete the whole work by using the experience of selected units.
