Effects of the Rare Earth Impurity on the Intrinsic Emissions in the Thermoluminescence Spectra of LaF_3 Crystals

摘要 本文对纯净LaF_3晶体及掺有0.1mol%稀土杂质的LaF_3晶体进行了18~290K热释光谱的测量和讨论。在所有样品中都观测到了位于250~450nm的本征发光峰,一次发光在70~90K,另一次在120~135K。峰温度与热激活能均与所掺的稀土杂质的离子半径有关。第一次发光主要为单纯的本征发光,第二次主要为受稀土杂质扰动的本征发光。 The 18-290K thermoluminescence spectra of pure LaF_3 and LaF_3 doped with 0.1 mol% rare earth impurity ions were measured and studied. The intrinsic emissions were observed in all the samples at 250-450 nm with the peak temperature at 70-90K and 120-135K. The peak temperature and thermal activation energy were found to be related with the radii of the impurity ions. It has been suggested that the first emission is a simple intrinsic emission ,but the second one is disturbed by the impurity ions.
