龙羊峡水电站工程，曾被外国专家誉为挑战性工程。窑洞式安装间开挖跨度最大为３８ｍ，其复杂的地质和自然条件，给设计和施工带来了很大的困难，设计人员在一年多的时间里，采用了数种计算方法，经施工单位的通力合作，终于完成了这项艰巨的任务。

Longyangxia Hydropower Station is once regarded as a challenging one,The erectingbay with excavation span of 38m was build underground.Its complicated geologic and naturalconditions cause a lot of difficulties for design and construction. Through designers adopted sev-eral computational method to find the best solution during the period of design and co-operatedwith constructors,this hard task had beenfinished finally.
