This article summarizes recent progress of thin strip continuous casting technology and makes a survey of various thin strip continuous caster surh as double-roll,unequal diameter double-roll,single-roll and single -belt developed by France,Germany, America,Graat Britain,Japan,South Korea,Italy,Austria,Sweden,Australia et al.Correlative techniques as well as equipment scale,technological level and product sizes which are reached currently or will be reach immediately are also reviewed.
