摘要
用氩离子激光器作激励源,实验证实了氟化物玻璃光纤1.3μm的光辐射,给出了相应的理论模型.根据光纤中原子和电场相互作用原理,计算了掺镨和掺钕两种氟化物光纤的激励效率、增益和饱和输出特性,为1.3μm光纤放大器的应用提供了实验和理论设计依据.
m stimulated emission of fluoride glass fiber at the pumping of Argon laser has been demonstrated. The relative theoretical model has also been given. Based on the principles of the interaction between the atoms and the electric field in the fiber, the calculation for pumping efficiency, gain and saturated power output both for Pr-ion and Nd-ion doped optical fiber has been made. All these provides an experimental and theoretical basis for the application of 1. 3μm optical fiber amplifiers.
