用国产麦普替林与阿米替林随机双盲对照治疗26例老年抑郁症。结果发现二者疗效相近,麦普替林组副反应比阿米替林组少且轻微。看来,麦普替林似较适用于老年抑郁患者。

A double-blind comparison of maprotyline and amitriptyline in the treatment of depresssionin the elderly was conducted by the authors. The total efficacy was similar between these two drugs, but the sude efects of maprotyline were much lesser. The author prefer maprotyline as the first choice drug in the treatment of depression in the eldrely.
