摘要
地下μ子强度随岩石深度的增加减弱。利用地下μ子的强度-深度关系能够测量天然状态岩石密度。此法可测μ子望远镜上方任意方向的岩石平均密度。
The intensity of underground cosmic-ray muons decreases when the rockdepth increases. The rock density in natural state can be measured throughintensity-depth relations of underground muons. This method can preciselymeasure the average densities of rocks with any thickness up to the order of1000 meter in any direction above the muon telescopy.
