The main in fluences on extreme pressure of casing pipe are the radio of diameterto wall thickness, the varying wall thickness,the initical elliptical rate, and mechanicalproperties of materials. This paper analyzes those factors.Some basic concepts in design ofcasing pipe are illustrated. and some factors used in reference papers are explained accordingto this theory. Some advices about calculating extreme pressure of casing are given. Theformulas obtained from this analysis are practicable.
