The fundamental solutions of complex stress functions or stress intensity factorsfor isotropic plane with an elliptical hole or a crack are derived with the cauchy integralmethod. Those fundamental solutions are useful to solve some problems in elastic mechanicsand fracture mechanics by the use of boundary element method(BEN).
