The principles for rotionol orrangement of reactive power compensator and the implication of 'costequivalent of reactive power' were discussed. That the reoctive compensator should be installed in the user with larger ' cost-equivalent of reactive power'was suggested. And a mathematical expression for determining the economic capacity of the compensator was derived
