The applicatin of non-standard throttling element (1/4 nozzle) to the flow measurement of nitrogen introduced into the No.3 Fiber Factory of Liaohua is discussed in detail. Thus it has brought to light how to determine the shape of 1/4 circular nozzle in the case of small and lower Reynolds number.
