An auxiliary computer system for testing the fracture toughness property of materials is briefly described in the paper, which can complete the collecting, storing drawing and the treatment of data by means of the PC computers linked to material testing machine. Hardware selection, designing performance and main method of calculation of datatreatment are also introduced.
