AbstractThis paper reports the area, stock volume, increment and other details of Taiwanforests, discusses the forestry development strategy of Taiwan Province, focuses on the cur-rent situation of reforestation, forest plantation by local authorities and by local people, plan-tation techniques, forest management, water and soil conservation, and the establishment ofprotective forests, brieves on urban afforestation, national parks, natural reserves and woodprocessing.
