摘要
本文讨论初始扰动和密度比对三层流体系统中孤立波生成的影响,出发点是所导得的KdV方程和散射反演理论的结果。分析结果表明,增加初始扰动的高度和宽度会生成更多的孤立波,这与Maxworthy的实验结果一致;此外,在较弱分层情形,密度比对孤立波生成的影响极小,而在较强分层情形,其影响较大。
In this paper, based on the KdV equation we obtained and the inverse scatterring theory, the effect of initial disturbance and density ratio on the generation of solitary waves in a three-layer fluid system is discussed. It is shown that increase in the height and width of the initial disturbance may result in the generation of more solitary waves, which agrees with the experimental results of Maxworthy[3]. Besides, we find that, in the case of weaker stratification, the effect of density ratio of fluid on the generation of solitary waves is negatiable, whereas in the case of stronger stratification, the effect should be considered.
