Relay hydraulic hoist with shorter cylinders were adopted instead of those with long cylinders required by the larser height of spillway openings. This lowered manufacturing skills,and reduced their weight by 30% compered with their equivalence.Therefore,the equipment can be made in China. This has a significant effect to solve problems arising in operating very high gates.
