Using hydrological forecasting to conduct the flood forecasting and dispatching in the reservoirs of hydropower stations during flood season

充分利用水文信息是协调水库防洪与兴利之间矛盾的有效方法；在满足防洪安全的前提下，可以在未发生洪水时期抬高水库运行水位，在洪水入库以前将水库水位降至防洪要求的限制水位，从而提高径流式水电站的发电运行效益和调度水平。沙溪口水电站利用水文预报进行水库汛期预报调度效益显著。

A efficient method of solving the contradiction between reservoir water releasing for flood control and water storage for benefit promotion is to make full use of hydrological information. Under the prrerequisite of controlling flood, the reservoir operation water level could be raised during non-flood season and could be dropped to flood control level before flood inflow the reservoir so that the benefit of power generation and dispatching level in runofriver hydropower station could be increased. Shaxikou Hydropower Station has gained a significant benefit on using hydrological forecasting to conduct reservoir flood flrecasting and dispatching during flood season.
